Welcome to my model collection.

The majority of the models you'll see here, I built in the 80's when I was in my late teens and twenties. They are hand built, hand painted scale models that began as a bunch of white plastic parts in a colorful box. It was a hobby I really enjoyed as a kid. I still build the odd kit now and then, perhaps once a year. Now with a focus on photography, I can better share some of my favorite work.

Thanks for Visiting. Enjoy!

1966 Pontiac Parisienne

1:25 scale AMT kit

The 66 Pontiac was another beautiful car, with it's long and sleek profile it had amazing curb appeal. This was one of the first kits where I used Tamiya spray can paint, and was pleasantly impressed. No loss of detail or orange peal. A couple thin coats and some clear was all it needed. This was a great kit and glad I built it. The only thing better would have been a convertible to show off the trimmed interior. Photographing these long and low car models is fun, the right lens and angle can really provide a realistic feel.
